DOXA was perhaps first really known for the watches and movements they developed for the rapidly emerging automobile industry. DOXA’s founder – Georges Ducommun was such a car nut that he even had a gas station at his residence (The Ducommun residence is today’s Switzerland’s largest horological museum, where the gas pumps can still be seen)! This led to an 8-day movement to power the dashboard clocks of the legendary Bugatti.

In honor of the 120th anniversary of DOXA, we are proud to introduce a watch that embodies the spirit of our founder – the DOXA Ultraspeed! This is a limited edition of 150 total pieces.

Under the hood, the engine driving the Ultraspeed is the Valjoux 7750 with Power Reserve indicator. This exceptional engine is housed in a 44 mm solid stainless steel cockpit.
