Old School
The Bauhaus School of Design was founded in 1919 with the vision of combining architecture, painting, sculpture, and design into one united movement. The Bauhaus movement evolved to combine art and technology, the whole being greater than the sum of its parts. This is the very essence of DOXA'S original GRAFIC, which was designed by an architect from the original Bauhaus school. Clean, simple, elegant.
New School
The spirit of the GRAFIC lives on in DOXA's DECO. This is an updated version of one of our most popular designs. With design DNA from the 1950s, the DECO is at once both timeless and of the moment. The rectangular stainless steel case is reminiscent of the clean, pure lines that epitomize the Bauhaus style - then as now, form meets function. We have updated this classic with some important features including: a self-winding 25 -jewel movement, a scratch-proof, anti-glare sapphire crystal, and a sapphire crystal display back.
