There is only ONE
true icon in the world
of dive watches...Now it is back!
SUB 300 Sharkhunter
50th Anniversary Collection
After 50 years of its initial release in 1967, the DOXA SUB300 (Non T) Model was beginning a new era in the world of dive watches. The bright orange dial, the patented US Navy Seal non deco bezel, the dwarf hour hand, the self-adjusting beads of rice bracelet made this legend what it became over the past 50 years.
2017 celebrates the comeback of the iconic DOXA SUB300 with a remake of the original.
Like the original the case is solid, stainless steel measuring 42.5 mm in diameter, and 13.4 mm thick. The movement is ETA's 2824-2 Chronometer Grade version. Like the original SUB 300 the stainless steel bracelet is DOXA's unique "beads of rice" style, with an interesting taper from 22 mm to 20 mm where the clasp is equipped with an integrated wetsuit extension.
The bezel displays DOXA's innovative adaptation of the US Navy's maximum no decompression limit times, which is engraved in orange on the outer unidirectional bezel. And while the crystal bears a striking resemblance to the plexi crystal of the original 300, it is, in fact a double bubble sapphire crystal.
